Home or Business - We are here for you!
Who are We?
We are a local family-owned business dedicated to bringing you the latest technology, protecting your privacy, and helping you grow into the future.
Cutting Edge Computers has been around the area since 2006. Mike supported several local businesses and worked out of his home. With the business becoming bigger than expected, he decided it was time to give the customers a store. In October of 2014, the doors officially opened with our ribbon cutting.

Our employees are constantly continuing their education to better serve our customers. It is important to us to be able to do the best work possible for everyone who walks through our doors. We believe every customer is a priority, and do our best to provide excellent customer service. No job is too big, or too small. We enjoy doing them all.

First thing, turn your computer off/disconnect it from the internet. This makes it so whoever is on your computer is not able to connect to it anymore. Second, go to your bank and let them know you believe you were hacked and to check your account. If you think someone has been on your computer, do not go to your online banking. Third, bring us your computer and we will do a cleanup on your computer. All your data will be safe, but we will remove any traces of some being on your computer and ensure there is no malware or viruses on your computer.
There are many ways to protect yourself. Having a good antivirus that is
constantly scanning your computer and taking care of issues as they happen is a huge factor. We do offer one - please contact us for more information. Also, it is very important to be extremely cautious when clicking on links and downloading things from the internet. Most important, NEVER call a number that pops up on your computer.DO NOT call the number. If you can, close the browser. If you are unable to close the browser, call us at 989-448-0486, we will provide instructions on what to do. The pop ups claiming there are “viruses” are usually a scam!
We do not recommend using computers that do not have the newest version of Windows (Windows 11) on the computer. The support has stopped for new updates on older versions of windows, which means there are no new security updates from windows. This makes your computer more vulnerable to viruses and malware.
We offer a disposal on laptops and desktops - there is a fee for the disposals. Upon receiving the old computers, we will take your hard drive out and store it for roughly 2 months in the event that you may need something off of it. After 2 months the drive will be destroyed. The other computer components get sent out to recycle companies.
Most repairs are completed within 1–2 business days. If your device requires replacement parts, we’ll provide you with a quote first. Once approved, we’ll order the necessary parts, and the total repair time will depend on shipping and parts availability. (Payment may be needed before we can order parts)
You only need to bring the computer tower or laptop. The only time we request a charger/power cable for laptops is if you are experiencing power issues or you have a gaming laptop.
No appointment is needed to drop off your computer—you're welcome to bring it in anytime during our business hours. All in-shop repairs are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
On-site service does require a scheduled appointment. Remote support typically also requires an appointment, unless we have a technician available at that moment.
